Life Without Nietzsche Is A Mistake

Nietzsche, a life philosopher, deals with the most important questions about what it means to be human in his works. It is impossible to be indifferent to Nietzsche, who calls himself the philosopher of the ‘dangerous maybe’. He speaks with such a powerful voice that you definitely need to turn your head and look. You will either follow or be against him but definetely be fascinated by his loud words.

You are either on his trail or against him. Because Nietzsche’s works, a life philosopher, deal with the most important questions about what it means to be human.

Its aim is to make room for new and humane values that glorify human being. He wants to destroy idols, values that are believed without questioning and beliefs that make man an ordinary part of the ‘herd’.

Excerpts from the Book

Although Nietzsche sometimes reproaches, as he did in Zarathustra, “They do not understand me, I am not the mouth that these ears will listen to”, in fact, throughout his life he has longed for people with whom he can share depth.

Nietzsche loves music and plays virtuoso piano. Especially perfect for piano improvisations. Nietzsche wrote to his friend Peter Gast in early 1888, when his intellectual production was at its peak: “A life without music is a mistake, an exhaustion, an exile.”

His job is ‘out of herd’ individuals who think and question with ‘az’, ‘exceptions’ and their own mind. Nietzsche does not give prescriptions that are right for everyone because he does not believe in what is right for everyone. This is the work of morality, religion, the state, and totalitarian systems. That’s why Nietzsche doesn’t like to ask for directions. Zoroaster “I have always loved ways, asking and trying ways!” he describes his attitude. Nietzsche gives only essential advice to those who listen to him eagerly: create your own truth, your own virtue, your own life; so be yourself.

Just as he said in Zarathustra, Nietzsche, acting with the principle “Whoever wants to grasp everything in man must touch everything”, after going so deep into human and life and making so many discoveries, He looks for people he can share with, he longs for them. In Zoroaster, he admits this as well:
“I’m tired of my wisdom, like bees who have collected too much honey; I need hands to reach out.”

Because Nietzsche’s work, a life philosopher, deals with the most important questions about what it means to be human. His concern is not to philosophize with dry and abstract words as a group of scholars always do, Nietzsche wants to touch life directly. He wants to philosophize with the hammer as he mentions in the subtitle of his book The Setting of Idols.
